Library of Congress Coding Blunder Temporarily Erased Vital Parts of U.S. Constitution Online

A coding error made major sections of the U.S. Constitution vanish from the Library of Congress website for days. The missing content, including the Habeas Corpus clause, was restored after outcry and political scrutiny. The issue arose as website administrators included new Supreme Court analyses.
